As a group, we were tasked with creating a housing structure that would be constructed off site, transported over a mile by hand, and assembled at an undefined location on a hill in Poly Canyon. The main design criteria we chose were ease of transportation and adaptability on site.
The structure held all five of us for the entire night.
Each of the five group members rolled their section of a semi circle, which when combined, would allow the structure to vary the angle of the base while keeping the bed platform level.
All additional pieces were attached to the modules in order to aid transportation, and some piece's functions changed once we reached the site.
